Marthas vineyard, Massachusetts

Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts was discovered by the English explorer Bartholomew Gosnold in 1602. I have had the privilige to visit the island over 400 years after the first European landed. Departing from Hyannis on Cape Cod, a 50 minute journey on a small passanger ferry awaits before arriving at Oak Bluffs, one of a few small towns on the scenic island. Although mass tourism has striked, a colonial atmosphere is still kept.

Newport, Rhode Island

300 km east of New York City is the beautiful seaside town of Newport. Not a bad view to wake up to!
Big Apple and CranGrape
Spending three weeks in New York City I have learned to appreciate the American national symbol Cranberries.
